I have dozens of construction grade 1×6’s at the house that I will use in a few beginner furniture-making projects. I bought a table saw, and I am going to trim them down to 1×5 or so before running them through a planer. Should I use the rip blade that came with the table saw, or should I buy a blade with 40 teeth, 60 teeth, or 100 teeth?

This table saw was slightly used before my father passed away. It has been in a workshop for about 13 yrs.

I need a good table saw. No i don’t want to go to e-bay, a pawn shop, or Austrailia. Anyone got one laying around? I’ll take a compound miter saw too. I’ll pay, just can’t afford new stuff.

I saw a woodworking magazine that is either current or just past the shelf date that has some plans for timber frame style trestles. I am trying to see if anyone knows what magazine this is and the issue. I thought it was Fine Homebuilding but nothing I find online can confirm it. Any info. would be great!

What's a good brand in a used table saw?

I see some craftsman (big heavy old ones) and a delta on craigslist. Any brands/models to avoid, or snatch up? Thanks

I just asked if a table saw can be used as a masonry saw. The answer looks to be no, but how about the other way around?
